And if that is something that resonates, well then --- we would love an opportunity to speak with you.Summary:To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President, Global Sales to lead our sales efforts in the consumer, enterprise, and automotive sectors. This role requires a combination of technical, analytical, communication, and leadership skills, along with deep knowledge of the wireless, broadband and IoT markets. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the technology landscape, strong leadership skills, and a track-record of success building and overseeing a high-performing, global sales and sales support team. Experience as an individual contributor and building and managing a small team is critical, as this is both a hands-on role, responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive revenue generation, market penetration, and overall business growth.Essential Function:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy that aligns with the company's vision and growth objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the global sales team to exceed revenue targets and grow market share in enterprise, consumer, and automotive verticals.
  • Contribute directly to product roadmaps and drive the company's go-to-market strategy for wireless connectivity solutions, including embedded components, external antennas, and integrated systems.
  • Define and execute strategies for penetrating new markets and increasing the adoption of the company's wireless solutions in key sectors.
  • Working directly with Airgain sales channel partners, Distributors, MNO (Mobile Network Operators), Carriers and other partners to support new and existing opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure the company's position as a trusted provider.
  • Provide Business development insights as directed across Airgain product and services segments for customers and competitors and identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships globally to drive growth.
  • Develop sales processes, performance metrics, and best practices to ensure efficient operations and data-driven decision-making, including driving QBRs and strategic long-range planning
  • Ensure collaboration across cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, engineering, and finance, to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs in wireless connectivity for enterprise, consumer, and automotive sectors.
  • Champion customer feedback and influence product development to ensure the solutions meet and exceed market expectations.
  • Developing, refining and supporting, in coordination with finance and human resources, sales compensation structures.
  • Developing and continuously improving the sales process, forecasting strategy, and go to market plan in coordination with other internal stakeholders.
  • Training internal and external selling teams on how to successfully position, sell and generate new revenue for Airgain product and service offerings.
  • Build and nurture a high-performing, motivated, and diverse sales team.
  • Implement performance management systems and drive continuous development of team members through coaching, training, and talent development, including addressing issue timely and professionally.Requirements/Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science, etc.), business, marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales leadership roles within a global technology, wireless connectivity or telecommunications industries with a proven track record of leading and managing a global sales function in highly competitive markets, and extensive experience with B2B sales models and strong familiarity with enterprise, consumer, and automotive sectors. Direct relationship with the public safety sector or key MNOs either domestically or internationally is highly desirable.
    • Experience building strong internal operations and metrics infrastructure, including working with contemporary sales tools and technologies, and broad experience designing and refining sales compensation programs.
    • Strong understanding of wireless connectivity solutions, including embedded components, broadband technologies, cloud management systems, market trends, customer ecosystem and market dynamics across our target customer sectors.
    • Exceptional focus on driving revenue growth and market share reliably, with integrity and adapting as necessary to changing market dynamics.
    • A successful track record of leading, building and inspiring top-performing sales teams globally and fostering a results-driven, collaborative, and accountable culture.
    • Strong analytical and strategic planning and execution skills, with a focus on scaling global sales organizations and the ability to translate ideas into actions.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior leadership and build strong relationships with C-level executives, as well as influencing key stakeholders across all levels. Fluent in English, with secondary languages preferred.
    • A reputation for setting a standard of personal and professional maturity and executive function to maintain and set the standard for the sales team and leadership overall.
    • Ability to travel up to 50%, including international travel.Benefits available to Regular Full Time Employees:

      • Office SnacksCompensation:The US base salary range for this full-time position is $230,000-$270,000 + attractive bonus and equity package. Our salary ranges are determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to the role, location, job-related skills, relevant education, experience and training.The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target range for new hire base salary for the position across all US locations and varies by the location of the position.Our Talent team member can share more about our salary ranges and other benefits of working at Airgain, which are not included in the posted base salary range.
