Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Type: Contract to Hire

Overview:
Our client an exciting and growing manufacturing company in Norristown PA. They are looking for a Quality Control Technician to add to their team. This company offers great opportunity to grow your professional knowledge!

Responsibilities: Perform testing on finished putty, in-process materials, incoming components, and raw materials.
Record test results in lab notebooks and QC databases; approve and verify reported results.
Document and report non-conforming test results; place materials/products on hold if specifications are unmet.
Conduct key tests, including visual color assessment, flow properties, rheological analysis, and stability testing.
Communicate material and product status to manufacturing personnel.
Collaborate with QC, production, and assembly teams to address and resolve off-spec products.
Inspect bulk finished putty using AQL sampling plans.
Maintain lab equipment, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
Support additional QC functions as assigned.


Requirements: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
1 year of Quality control experience in manufacturing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to differentiate color/rheology variations.
Proficiency in MS Office, email, and internal databases.
Strong organizational, record-keeping, and decision-making skills.
High level of ownership and commitment to results.
Must be able to stand for a full workday in an active environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to shoulder height.
Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform other physical tasks.
