What You'll Do As a Veterinary In-Patient Care Technician at MVA, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our hospitalized patients. In this role, you will:
    • Monitor patient status, tracking vital signs, appetite, hydration, and overall comfort throughout their stay.
    • Administer treatments and medications according to veterinary orders, including fluid therapy, oral/IV meds, and wound care.
    • Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as blood draws and basic in-house lab work, under the guidance of veterinarians or senior technicians.
    • Maintain a clean, organized hospital environment, restocking supplies and ensuring equipment is ready for immediate use.
    • Keep thorough medical records, documenting all treatments, observations, and patient progress accurately and promptly.
    • Collaborate with specialists, doctors, and fellow technicians, relaying important patient information and coordinating care plans.
    • Engage in continuing education and case discussions, staying informed about the latest techniques in in-patient care and veterinary medicine.       Anticipated Schedule This is a full-time position with the following available schedule:
      • Wednesday - Thursday: 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM; Saturday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Compensation
