position works out of our -Princeton, NJ -location in the -Abbott
Point of Care Division. -The -Sr. Electrical Engineer -will manage
all aspects of electrical engineering projects from start to
finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.What
You'll Work On
- Create electrical engineering and system engineering designs,
development, analysis, and debug for manufacturing equipment and
product changes for i-STAT and Alinity.
- Apply electrical and embedded system engineering expertise to
complete investigations for i-STAT 1 and Alinity (ex. yield, CAPA,
and Complaints)
- Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements in Alinity and
i-STAT 1 manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support for production floor troubleshooting
and deployment activities.
- Support electrical and system characterization, verification,
and validation testing activities for on-market products change and
production systems.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and provide guidance to other
engineers.
- Self-manage on-time deliverables for quality, production and
engineering projects, including developing schedule milestones and
providing progress updates/escalation to senior management.
-Conduct meetings, prepare reports to communicate project status,
set priorities, and coordinate to meet targets and milestones.
- Act as manufacturing representative for R&D-driven design
changes and liaise with other operational areas as needed to
complete projects.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
experience
- 4+ years of electrical engineering experience in a regulated

The base pay for this position is $83,000.00 - $166,000.00. In
specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range
posted.
