Job Description:
A company is looking for a Customer Service Specialist (Patient
Collections).
Key Responsibilities
Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls for collecting
past due balances from patients
Research overdue account balances and follow up with patients
regarding delinquent payments
Document account information accurately and resolve discrepancies
as necessary
Required Qualifications
Basic level mathematical proficiency with the ability to interpret
spreadsheet data
One year or more of patient collections experience preferred
Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and
Outlook
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in computerized billing systems and healthcare billing
procedures
