Interventional oncology unit (INTO), which is a cross-sector
initiative, brings the best in pharmaceutical development and
medical technology under one group to develop a portfolio of
intra-tumoral therapeutics assets to significantly alter the course
of cancer treatment by improving survival and finding cures. INTO
is recruiting for an Immuno-oncologist Senior Director within the
Discovery and Translational sciences team. The INTO Discovery team
is a global group spanning three research sites across Belgium and
the US, responsible for developing the pre-clinical portfolio of
INTO. This will be a role requiring significant scientific
leadership with responsibilities including leadership of the global
discovery group based in vivo and in vitro group of scientists,
driving pre-clinical validation packages incorporating in vivo
models of lung cancer, in vitro immune assays, in vivo models of
lung cancer and translational research to support drug discovery
project progression through to NME and for clinical strategy. The
role will also encompass cross-sector collaborations with the
device engineers to investigate combinations of immunotherapy and
J&J technology and device approaches to tumor therapy. In
